Crimson Twilight And The Cutie Mark Crusaders

In the Castle Of Friendship, Crimson Twilight, the young princess, was walking around the halls. She was the daugher of Twilight Sparkle, the princess fo friendship, and Crimson Streak, the prince of The Kingdom of the Midnight, as well as the Prince of Friendship after he and Twilight married. As she was just a filly, she had no cutie mark, so she was looking for ways to get it.

One day, as her parents were in Ponyville to meet with their friends, she saw the Cutie Mark Crusaders clubhouse and went to see the new leader, an Earth pony who was with a pegasus and unicorn.

"Hello, is this the Cutie Mark Crusaders," Crimson Twilight said.

"You bet. I'm Ruff Tumbler. These are the other three members, Rain Kicker and Jewelspark," the earth pony said.

"We've restarted the Cutie Mark Crusaders because we needed to find our purpose. Only then can we get our cutie marks," the pegasus, Rain Kicker said.

"So, can I join," Crimson Twilight asked.

"Let's see. No, you can't join," the unicorn, Jewelspark, said.

"Why not," Crimson Twilight asked in confusion.

"Well, let's see. Your fancy clothes. I know you wear them for something, but really, what we sometimes do may be dirty, so we don't want to get your folks mad for getting mud or whatever stained on them," Ruff Tumbler said.

"Okay, I can change out," Crimson Twilight said as she ran off.

At the Carasoul Boutique, Crimson Twilight managed to ger her dress, shoes, and tiara off, leaving her red coat exposed (then again, the ponies in Ponyville don't wear clothes.  Her friend, Fire Jewel, a purple unicorn with a green mane and a green tail tied into a purple bow, watched. She had dragon wings on her, as her mother was clothing designer Rarity and the brave dragon Spike.

"Crimson, are you sure you want to leave your clothes here," Fire Jewel asked.

"Yes, Fire Jewel. They said I can't wear fancy clothes because they might get dirty," Crimson said as she ran out.

"Who's they," Fire Jewel said as she dressed in a trenchcoat and hat and went out, concerned for her best friend.

At the club, Crimson Twilight came to them and asked the question again, only for them to refuse.

"Don't look at us, it's the streaks in your mane and tail. It's kind of outstanding. You should at least dye them," Ruff Tumbler said as she went off.

In the mane salon, Crimson Twilight was getting the purple and pink covered up by Firedash, the acrobatic son of Rainbow Dash and Fireblaze who was learning the craft.

"Crimson Twilight, you looked great with the streaks. I don't think it's a good idea to cover them," Firedash said.

"I need to to join the Crusaders," Crimsons aid nervously as she ran off. Fire Jewel came in as she saw Firedash.

"Firedash, I don't think these new Cutie Mark Crusaders have good fillies in it at all," Fire Jewel said.

"Me, neither," Firedash said.

As Crimson came back to the club, she was still refused membership, and this time for a new reason.

"Well, you have both wings and a horn. I mean, are you a unicorn or a pegasus," Ruff Tumbler said.

"I am really an alicorn," Crimson Twilight said.

"An alicorn? Look, if you really, really, REALLY want to be in this club, then either get rid of the wings or horns," Jewelspark said.

And with that, Crimson Twilight went to Sweet Apple Farms. Fire Jewel and Firedash saw this and were shocked as they laughed at the misfortune Crimson Twilight had.

"My goodness? Those Crusaders are not nice at all," Fire Jewel said.

"Well, we need to tell Blade's mom and dad before Blade realizes what he's doing," Firedash said.

"But wouldn't that be tattling," Fire Jewel said as she was scared.

"Not when a friend is being bullied. And trust me, this is bullying," Firedash said as he grabbed Fire Jewel and flew off.

Later, inside the barnhouse, Crimson Twilight was laying on her side as Apple Blade heard her request, but was hesitant to go through with it.

"No, I can't cut off your wings. You're my friend, and that would not be right," Apple Blade said as he sat down and started to cry.

"I'm sorry to get you involved anyway, Apple Blade. I guess I should find a doctor to get my wings surgicallyu removed in order to be a Cutie Mark Crusader," Crimson Twilight said as she started to cry, only for Twilight Sparkle to come in.

"Crimson Twilight, honey, is this what this is all about," Twilight said as she came and comforted her daughter.

"Yes, first, I had to remove my dress because they said I could get it dirty, then I dyed the streaks I inherited from you because they said they were too distractive, and then, they told me to get rid of either my wings or horn because I should either be a unicorn or pegasus," Crimson Twilight said as it shocked the parents.

"Well, I sure say these Cuite Mark Crusaders are being a bunch of bullies. Apple Bloom would never allow that," Applejack said.

"I sure don't, and even if I'm no longer a Cutie Mark Crusader, I still won't tolerate bullies," a voice said as a teenaged Apple Bloom came out. Long ago, she and the original CMCs got their cutie marks, hers being a shield with an apple in the middle.

"Aunt Apple Bloom," Apple Blade said.

"Don't you worry one bit, Princess Crimson Twilight, I called Scootaloo on the issue, and she and Rainbow Dash is taking care of it," Apple Bloom said.

Later, Crimson Twilight looked at herself in the lake as Twilight Sparkle came to her.

"I realize what happened, and trust me, I know how it feels, especially seeing Apple Bloom being bullied when she was your age," Twilight said.

"Yeah, but I was gullible for listening to them," Crimson Twilight said as a tear went down in her eyes.

"I knew that. And I realized if you told me or your father, they would call you a tattle tale. You don't need to listen to them. You are special the way you are. You don't need to change your mane, or get rid of your wings or horn to be liked. I only want the best for you," Twilight said as she and Crimson Streak hugged.

The next day, Crimson Streak, Fire Jewel, Apple Blade, and Firedash had the CMC capes Fire Jewel learned to make on as they hanged out in the same clubhouse.  Ruff Tumbler and his two friends were grounded by their parents after Scootaloo and Rainbow Dash told them what they did, and let's just say Ruff's father, being a royal gaurd to Princess Celestia, was not happy with the news. So, Apple Bloom gave them the clubhouse, as Applejack gave it to her, as the four friends started their own Cutie Mark Crusaders group, not knowing that this was the start of their destiny.
